Goa launches medical assistance cell offering eligible patients 30% of procedure costs, capped at ₹2 lakh per patient

The assistance is subject to recommendations from the Chief Minister’s Medical Committee and requires at least 15 years’ residence in Goa. It may supplement DDSSY, Mediclaim or PMJAY coverage when treatment costs exceed applicable limits.

Himachal Pradesh government constitutes commission to reorganise administrative units, including through creation, merger and bifurcation

Retired High Court of Himachal Pradesh judge Dharam Chand Chaudhary will head the commission, which is intended to promote public convenience and administrative efficiency.
